Welcome back to school everybody, I hope you had a lovely Christmas and are ready for the New Year.

We remind parents & guardians that if your child is experiencing any symptoms that make you think he/she might be sick, please do not send your child into school and notify the bus driver as soon as possible.  In this way, we can hopefully stop the spread of infections and viruses such as COVID 19, RSV etc.

We need your co-operation to ensure that the precautions work by instilling in your child the importance of the following;

  • Sneezing into a hanky or a sleeve and disposing of tissue in bin
  • Not sending your child into school if he/she develops symptoms
  • Collecting him/her from school as soon as possible if he/she develops symptoms in school

Also, with the temperatures so low, if you could ensure your child has a warm coat, hat & gloves as we will try to go out at break times as much as we can.

Finally, a very Happy New Year to you all from everyone here at Casa Caterina,

Emma Kilcommins
